The merchant and the parrot

An oriental merchant had a parrot. One day the bird broke a bottle of oil. The merchant got angry and hit the parrot with a stick on the back of the head. The parrot, which had previously shown intelligence, has since stopped talking. The feathers on his head fell off and he soon went bald. One day, while sitting on a shelf in his master’s shop, a bald customer came in. His appearance greatly excited the parrot. Fluttering its wings, he jumped around, screamed, and finally, to everyone’s surprise, spoke again: “Did you knock down the bottle of oil and hit you on the back of the head that you no longer have hair?”

Nasraddin Hodja

One day Nasraddin Hodja rode his donkey and went home from the mosque with a group of people. Suddenly the Hodja stopped and rode the donkey upside down. Those around him asked him why he had done so, and he replied, “I thought about it and decided to ride the donkey like that, because I don’t like disrespect at all. If you walk in front of me, then you will have your back to me, which will be disrespectful and tactless.If I am in front, I will have my back to you, which will not be the right decision.But if I ride the donkey upside down, I will be in front of you, you will follow me and we will be against each other.
