Which is primary – the text or the drawing? At my University of Travel publishing house, I book my personal travel stories and travelogues, most of which I paint during the journey. The volume of the colors is almost equal to the volume of the letters. In some pages, the text may be more picturesque and comprehensive than the artistic line, and the image may be more chatty and spacious than the word. I illustrate my books only with my paintings. Each trip is a self-projection, self-search, analysis and many discoveries. Why University? Because when a person goes to school, he may not learn anything, but when he travels, he invariably and inevitably learns something. University means universe. The symbol of my Travel University is the palm of the traveler – a spreading fan with endless lines and directories, searching and spreading in times and spaces. The stylized logo borrows the palm of the traveler with the pursuit of learning and knowledge.
